| First trip in April 2008, up Platteklip Gorge just down the road from the cable car. Planned to ride the car down but wind closed it- hiked down. Bright and sunny when I started but wind and fog enveloped before I made it over to the true highpoint. Second outing in October 2009 with Devil's Peak. Tried for an hour to get up from the saddle. Couldn't find a good route so followed the trail down and up Platteklip again. | |

| Climbed it via the "India window". That's what it was called, don't know any other names. It was a more adventurous route for sure. | |

| A window finally opened after 4 days of waiting in Cape Town. About 1.5 hours up to trail junction despite being way out of shape and breathing nasty fumes downtown for 10 days. Beautiful place with neat vegetation. | |

| Finally officially summited at Maclear's Beacon on 28 August 2005, but I've hiked up various routes, including Nursery Buttress, Diagonal, Corridor Ravine, Kasteelsport, and India-Venster. Even climbed on Cobblestone Gendarme and Arrow Final. Beautiful mountain! | |

| Easy climb on a beautiful day. The most beautiful place on earth? Earlier in the week, it was too rainy/cloudy to go to the summit, so I did a longer hike starting at the Platteklip Gorge trailhead around the side of the mountatin to Constantia Nek and then to my friends house in Hout Bay. | |

| Summited to kick off a classic 30+ km traverse of the higher peaks on the Cape Peninsula from the University of Cape Town to Kalk Bay. A yearly event with the UCT MSC and a very rewarding hike with truly unique views, including two oceans. | |
