Wow

what a great shot. This is a common snake all over where I live as well. I have even seen them in the high country of Glacier National Park. The one I saw was about the size of a wooden pencil and it was traveling down the trail from Sperry Chalet.

Thanks for the compliment! I've seen them all around the Northeast but it's hard to take any decent photos of them. I took about forty or fifty of this guy and this photo turned out to be the only good one.
