Tall monolith

Tall monolith

This is one of the tall monolith peaks in Dinosaur National Monument. It looks like a challenging peak. Dinosaur National Monument is full of such monuments, but all see hardly any climbing activity.

Other side

You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of the other side of this one would you? (N40.56333 W109.0648) It's considerably less steep, but I worry I'd be out of my comfort zone. I brought binoculars and meant to look at it from Hardscrabble but I forgot. Also, do you have any pictures of 5235 which is just north and slightly west across Big Draw?

Re: Other side

I believe that this is 6235:

I do have one photo of the other peak from the other side on SP, but part of it is obscured by trees, so I don't know how useful it would be:

I still think both peaks are technical. 6235 for sure. For 5940, you may be able to climb up from the west and climb the southeast side. I think that would be the only chance of finding a scrambling route, if there is one, but it may be technical as well. I'll go through my photos at home and see if I have a better photo than the one linked above.
