Nice and remote hike. Saw 3 big Gopher Snakes, but no rattlers. From the climbers log on the summit it looks like only a couple people make the hike a year.

Kind of a let down after doing Desert Peak earlier in the day, but still an enjoyable hike. Great views from on top. P2K #56/81.

Clear skies, windy, and very cold just below Big Pass. We went up the north ridge. Very fun hike in and around the cool rock formations. Wind stopped halfway up, and there was just a slight breeze in the summit. Great day, great peak, and no one there but us!

I wanted to visit this peak and mountain range for a few years and figured January was as good of a time as any. Beautiful day once above the inversion fog. Very windy (and cold) on top.

Very remote area - beautiful. Nice weather and fun day with Greg and Dean. Great views.

I went to Tangent Peak on a holiday weekend. I didn’t see anyone else out there. It was a hot day but the hike is short. Great view of the northern Great Salt Lake. This is a really neat desolate area.

Had Greg and Kadee as companions. A great day and great companions. Nice to have two vehicles out there as a breakdown was not an option. Despite the isolation, this area has a lot of beauty and the views from the summit were outstanding.
