| My Trails Illustrated/National Geographic Map had shown a distance of 6.9 miles one way. Once I reached the trailhead, I saw the sign said 6.9 miles was the distance to Juniper Basin. To Tanque Verde Peak was 9.0 miles one way. Psychologically made it harder but the day turned out to be perfect. Absolutely beautiful views with much solitude. | |
