My wife and I came upon this big guy as we were driving a scenic route through Teddy Roosevelt N.P. They are amazing creatures--really make your blood pump when you meet one in the backcountry!

Yes, they are beautiful. I went to college in Jamestown, North Dakota (the self-proclaimed "buffalo city"). They sport the world's largest buffalo statue and also have a huge herd which includes one albino. Quite the spectacle if you're ever in North Dakota!
