last wknd.we went on a dog hike with a friend of ours ...miserably cold rain. He brought a thermos with some ginger tea -- it was not offensive :)
(in fact will probably bring one of those ourselves next time)

Re: last wknd.Or like we do in the Boise Idaho area, I make a real mocha (espresso and steamed Chocolate Milk) and peppermint schnapps. Makes a great summit beverage!
