Started from the locked gate at the bottom of the FS road. Nice hike along a road. 11 miles RT. Still a fair amount of snow on the road the last several miles to the top.
The fall colors in this area were not as bright as usual this year. Supposedly this mountain was named because early pioneers thought it looked like a teat...

Walked a lot of it.
My wife and I decided that we should walk to the summit from about a mile and a half down the road as we needed the exercise. Some nice views. Afterwards, I did a p300 peak to the northeast which was more of a workout than the walk up to Teatville. : )
