Perfect late October day Date Climbed: Oct 21, 2010
A group of us decided to do the Stevens/Teepee day during this stretch of perfect late October weather. Clear skies, warm temperatures, and no bugs! Couldn't have asked for more. It had also been slightly less than two months since I had experienced a slight tear to my medial meniscus in my left knee. This day was another step in my getting back to normal activities!
We had lunch on the summit of Mount Stevens and then carried on to Teepee with our new friend, Perry, who we met along the way. He was in the area visiting, but seemed to know every mountain and creek drainage in our neck of the woods. All said, a great day out!
