A nice little run up this dome before heading up Blue Canyon to some more remote peaks. Awesome views from the top! Maybe I'll come back and do it from the canyon next time.

Rancheria Trailhead
Mostly just a long hike through the forest, but the summit has truly spectacular views. In this low snow year, the crossing of Crown Creek was a non-event. We carried a rope for the crux, but none of the three of us used it.
Fun scramble up the north ridge, great views. I signed near the bottom of the last page of the Sierra Club register, so at some point someone might want to bring in a new notebook.

Enjoyable solo trip in the fall- didn't see a soul the entire trip. Camped at a small creek just east of Deer Meadow and climbed Spanish Mtn the next day...
