| The easiest high elevation 14 mile hike I have ever done. Would have combined it with Rogers and Bennett but I was tired from the previous three days and my feet were covered in blisters. This hike is well worth it. | |

| What a great hike! very cold though 10 degrees at the first saddle, with a 10 mph wind even though it wad a bit hazy the views to other high areas was clear. | |

| Camped at Mahogany Flats and hiked to the summit with friend Ed and niece Megan as a warm-up climb for Mount Whitney Mountaineer's Route. Pleasant day with great views of Badwater and Mount Whitney. We had the mountain to ourselves. 74 degrees driving back down service road and 114 degrees in Stovepipe Wells just a few miles away. | |

| Beautiful clouds for the entire morning. This kept the temp down. Hiked from Mahogany with JQ. Hit Rogers and Bennett on the way back. Wildrose the day before. This was my second time high on the mountain, but my first summit. A couple years ago, I hiked from badwater with friends up the standard ridge from shorty's . . . on reaching the main ridge below the summit of telescope we were too *tired* to go to the top. | |

| Camped out at Mahogany Flat CG. Very windy with below freezing overnight temps. Still some snow on the trail. Windy and cold on the summit. Great views in all directions. | |

| Hit Wildrose and Telescope on a weekend. Mahogany Flat is a nice campground for those who need basic necessities but there are excellent backcountry spots on the trail up to Telescope. This area makes for a great weekend trip. | ||

| I got a late start and did most of the ascent in the dark. My car, being small and vulnerable, made it only to about 5,000'. I camped near a humongous, out-of-place-looking snowfield in a saddle within a mile of 2 of the summit. Great, peaceful, had it to myself. | |

| Started at 2 or so in the morning from Shorty's Well with Shin and Adam and finished at Mahogany around 4 pm. All time great day hike with plenty of scree slopes and ridge following. | |
