Voted 10/10 | your "15 feet of easy class 4 climbing" link is broken. thanks for an otherwise useful page. also, there are no longer any downed trees blocking the 4WD road. we were able to drive to ~9100' on May 10, 2009.

Hasn't voted | Thanks. I fixed the link and removed the text referring to the tree. Glad the page was useful. Great area, no?

Voted 10/10 | Definitely a great area. I'm glad I finally went, and I'd love to go back at sunset and also to see how the rock climbing is. Also, FYI, we drove about 1/4 mile past the large meadow at ~9030' until we were directly NW of the butte (with expansive views to the north). A trail switch backs up the NW slope from here and may be a better alternative to the use trails from the meadow at ~9030'. By the way, the statement about the tree blocking the road was removed on your Cerro Pedernal page, but it still appears on your Temolime Canyon route page.
