Temple of the Moon

Temple of the Moon

Temple of the Moon taken from the west side. Like the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon stands alone rising several hundred feet above the Cathedral valley floor.

Re: Nice Light

Thanks!

The clouds were moving fast that day and I had many choices for lighting on the Temple of the Moon.

Re: Flawless Lighting

Thanks!

Though I did have a lot to choose from, the clouds were moving fast :-)

Amazing

This is so perfect....it reminds me of an Iron Maiden album cover. I can't remember which one.

HDR Format...?

This is a great shot the way the light across all subjects is just right. Was it done using three different images at different exposures then embedded into each other...?
If it was HDR or not it is a fantastic shot.
Cheers - David.

Re: HDR Format...?

Thanks David!

This was just a single shot, no HDR involved. I had many options for lighting because the clouds were moving so fast this day. I'm impatient and usually don't wait for a shot, but this one didn't take very long!

Absolutely amazing!

A superb photographic capture - and that "Temple of the moon" is the very image of perfection!
