Teton Alpenglow | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Brilliant sunset alpenglow light on Mount Owen, 12,928 feet, and the Grand Teton, 13,770 feet, as seen from Cascade Creek to the northwest - July. The weather the entire day was overcast and drizzling, but I set up my camera anyways before sunset time. I thought I started seeing hints of a warmer reddish light on the peak but friend thought I was crazy... but a few minutes later the peaks lit up with some of the most amazing light I've witnessed. Voted 10/10 | Right away, without any doubts, I can say that this should be the photo of the week. Utterly speechless on this one, except that I'd just love to lay on the rock in the creek and continue saying "wow, wow, WOW!" until my mouth went dry. | | Posted Dec 5, 2006 9:25 pm |
