The Alpspitze north face...

The Alpspitze north face after a cold night with new snow at 27th September 2004.

The lower part of the north face is a beautiful free climbing site with well

protected routes from grade 4 to 6+ (UIAA) and up to 12 pitches.

At the left side below the summit is the east face which offers

a steep and rather dangerous (avalanches!) ski ascent.
