The Breach Wall
The Breach Wall
The Breach Wall is a difficult ice climb first ascended by Reinhold Messner in 1976. In technical difficulty it has been compared to the north face of the Eiger. Photographed at 13,000 feet in the Baranco Valley on Mount Kilimanjaro, December 9th, 2007. Here is a closeup of the wall.
