Overview

A steep, classic line that is one of Washington's most challenging ice leads due mainly to the fact that it rarley forms completely.

Getting There

Park at the Banks Lake Reclamation District sign at milepost 8. The route is directly across the highway about 100 feet.

Route Description

Climb up the obvious steep line through vertical to overhanging ice. The crux is near the top where a small protrusion creates overhanging blobs of ice that must be pulled directly.
