Thanks Jeffry, I've been on the Glyders many times but its always a great feeling to be back there enjoying the unique scenery and being silly on the cantilever.

Cantilever

Hi Icarreau,

thanks for your comment. I think there is another foto somewhere showing about 6 guys perching on the cantilever, so I think I was pretty safe. We tend to stand up there each time we go up onto the Glyders, its a kind of tradition.

Love the pic

Lived in Wales for three years and I love pics like these brings the memories back. I always wanted to do a hand stand on the Cantilever but never got round to it.

Cantilever

Hi Mark,
thanks for your note, It is a magic place on top of the Glyders and the Cantilever is like an old friend when you reach the ridge.
One of my trip reports has a picture of the cannon on Tryfan I did try and stand on the end of it but I kept sliding back down. I have seen a foto of someone standing on top of it somewhere, maybe it was in Nanuls images.

Hi Christian, thanks for your comments.
I was out in Capel Curig on Thursday this week with my mate Ken. It was raining when we got there and didn't stop all day. We just did a 16KM low level walk from there to Crafnant & back. WE laughed too as we fell in a few bogs.
