Is this a route somewhere?

Good question! I was actually trying to find a way to the top of Point 510 (expect a new mountain page soon).

The south face of this peak has numerous steep gullies which are fun to scramble in. I tried several of them without a helmet including this one, before giving up.

But I did return 2 years later to find the correct gully to the summit.
