The crag at center is Pk 5360+ ("Persindex"). I climbed up that on my failed attempt to make the traverse over to Mt. Index. The other side of Persindex was a steep cliff. I bailed on the traverse and decided to knock off Mt. Persis instead. Beyond are Mt. Phelps at far left and Goat Mountain at center left. Phelps features prominently from Seattle. Sept. 19, 1999.
