The eagle will learn to fly.

The eagle will learn to fly.

"As the sun turns slowly around the sky, Till the shadow of night is high .. The eagle will learn to fly. As the days of his life are but grains of sand, As they fall from your open hand .. And vanish upon the land ..." The preponderance of the evidence points to wintertime seasonal snowfall falling on the sandstone temples of Sedona about twice or (maybe) three times every year. This photo was taken at the beginning of the Bell Rock Trail AND the ending of a surprise winter snowstorm.

It's Give Larry Some Love Day

To boost your sagging points back up, I am voting for this photo! Ok, it's not half bad photography, either ...

Thanks, I think I'll give my wife an extra
hug after returning from the office.

I think I need an Alaskan vacation.

Re: It's Give Larry Some Love Day

Keep hearing there's no guarantees in life,
except for death and taxes.

Maybe if I go for a short vacation in Alaska, I can forget about my taxes.

I can also lose some weight by eating
salmon and tundra berries. Sounds like something I might be interested in ... hmmm.. - : )

Three Old Sourdoughs :

Three old sourdoughs were sitting around a blazing campfire exchanging tall tales about how tough they were.

"I was hiking through some willows," began the first sourdough, "when 10-foot tall bull moose with a 90-inch rack stormed out of a thicket and charged me. I grabbed him by the antlers and wrestled him to the ground and beat him senseless."

"That's nothing," said the second. "I was fishing in the Yukon River when a 2000-pound grizzly bear came after me and my catch. I ducked as he swiped at me, jumped on his back, and strangled him with my bare hands. I then skinned him with my bare teeth."

They all turned to the third sourdough, waiting for his story. He didn't say anything - just sat there stirring the coals with his bare hand.

Re: Another red paint job

You know I have an appropriate response .. thanks!

Think I finally found a way to make the sky
and clouds look more within the realm of
reality.

Yes, I know all the employees and fine
folks at the local Home Depot on a first name basis !!!

Hopefully - see you in a few more months ..
