The Flats
The meadows and foothills above Battle Creek Canyon, which we've nicknamed 'The Flats' on the route page. This area provides an excellent place to camp, with running water, if you want to spread the Battle Creek North Fork (West Face) route into a day and a half. May 19, 2006.
