The Gilky Memorial

The Gilky Memorial is one of the historical place where the K2 climbers and their friends and family left their love one plates to remember their memories. In 2008 we II climbers lost their life on K2 one of the biggest ever accident on K2. Among them was Girard Mc Donald - The first Irish climber who lost his life while saving other climbers life trapped near bottle neck.
