From right to left Mount Gould, Mount Siyeh and Cracker Peak. With Angel Wing and Allen Mountain out of the frame to the left. Some of Matahpi is visible between Gould and Siyeh. Grinnell Glacier sitting below Mount Gould with some of the Salamander Glacier visible above it.

With names like Angel Wing and Salamander Glacier, this picture is simply outstanding!

Caleb, where does the water go? Does it end
up in the Columbia River system?

I wish there was a way to keep that glacier
"rock solid" for the next 20,000 years!

	Hasn't voted	Hey Larry thanks for your support! I wish there was a way to keep the glaciers too. The water is Upper Grinnell Lake which goes into the Missouri River and yes some goes into the Columbia River System.

The water in this photo does, I think, end up in the Missouri, but part of the GNP watersheds also end up in Hudson Bay, and both the North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean (more info on the Triple Divide Peak page). And, of course, west of the divide empties into the Columbia River.

This looks like the view from the overlook near Granite Park Chalet. I had attached this to the route page for the Garden Wall traverse there, but you seem to have detached it. Is the scene from somewhere else?

Many congrats on your first POTD....well deserved and long overdue as you have posted many fine photos in the past...much more interesting than many that have won.
Indeed, it was a great outing, hiking to the Overlook that day...am glad we did it...also would've missed the wolverine if we had stuck to the original plan!!
