The Gold Standard
Jan McCollum took this picture during one of my shifts on lead as we put up The Gold Standard. We drilled protection bolts from hooks using a 5/16 hand drill which we would pull up using the parachute cord you can see. The moves are so hard we opted not to carry the extra weight of a drill and hammer. Yikes!
