...a view from the way up Angels Landing, before all the switchbacks. Did you climb AL or was it too icy? The view up there is great and it's a fun little scramble, but it's often crowded. I'm guessing it wasn't too crowded when you were there, by the look of things. I've been up three times, and twice I was lucky enough to have it all to myself. Here's a trip report in case you have nothing better to do than read it!

	Hasn't voted	I have done AL twice before. But, your guess was right. There was too much ice on the route this time and my wife and I weren't quite prepared for it. So we just hiked in deep snow to Scout Overlook. It's another mile past AL. And your guess about the photo is right too. It is before you get all those switch backs. The narrows were really icy in places, but we had ski poles that helped a lot. Thanks for the link to your TR. I'll read it a bit later. Cheers, Bob, Marc
