The hard to get to Hall Peak...

The hard to get to Hall Peak (5,452 ft), Big Four's little neighbor to the NW, as viewed from near the summit. Is it only Don Beavon who has successfully climbed Hall on the first try? Many make several attempts before finally being victorious. I guess its reputation for brush and cliff bands is well founded. Maybe I'll give it a go next month. Behind Hall is Long Mountain, and behind Long are Three Fingers and Whitehorse Mountain. Farther right across the valley are Devils Peak and Devils Thumb, Jumbo Mountain behind them, and Mt. Baker on the horizon. April 25, 2004.
