| Over from Darwin Bench and up the east chute... did not find the chute to be very pleasureable, but not as bad on the way down. Summit was harder than it looks- went up the step on the south side. No one else had signed the register in 2 years, but would think someone must have been since then. Darwin Canyon and Darwin Bench were fantastic. | |

| Day 1 of SC-with Tom Becht and Matthew Holliman for his SPS list finish. Nice summit block climb-the noises that Matthew makes while struggling on his climbing are funny. Long day, and coming from sea level and freshly acquired hangover. | |

| Summited with a group of six friends. The summit block was a lot of fun. I went up the 5.6 off-width jam crack which felt much harder than that. A few others did the 5.8 face. The upper main chute had the most loose rock I've encountered in the Sierra. Helmets are advisable. | |
