The hourglass ridge on Half Peak

The hourglass ridge on Half Peak
The only easy way up Half Peak consists of crossing this ridge. The route crosses the Continental Divide four times. This is one of my favorite mountains and this will probably be the last time that Sopris and Ray and myself will be able to climb Half Peak together... we are getting old (the dogs faster then me unfortunately). Ray (9 years old) was very tired by the time we finished. What a great way to spend a day with ones dogs though. August 12, 2009. Colorado. Jon Bradford
