The last bit to the summit of Avalanche Peak

I'm looking at two other hikers that have almost reached the summit. This last bit is the same for both the Avalanche Peak Tack and Scott's Track. If you look closely, you can see poles marking the summit ridge route. There is even one right at the left hand side of the picture. When these two reached the summit, they really surprised me when they dug up a stove from their pack. Thanks for the coffee, folks! January 1, 2007.
