The last pitch to the summit...
The last pitch to the summit of Cutthroat for the West Ridge Route. "West Ridge" is sort of a misnomer, since the route starts on the West Ridge, traverses the North Face, and finishes on the North Ridge of the summit tower. Photo taken June 27, 1999 from the notch on its north.

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."   --Marv, Sin City
