Seen from the normal route on Naafkopf. The refuge is the Pfälzerhütte, located on the Bettlerjoch, on the Liechtenstein side.

Do I get a prize? Maybe a one week retreat at the place all expenses paid.

Mmm, didn't think that one through ...

Mind you, you'd have to provide your own entertainment for that week. I mean, it's an alpine refuge, so the facilities are limited. If you've got a rope, someone to tie to the other end and a bit of gear, it won't be too bad, but after a couple of days, you'll want a change of scenery.

What?! No wifi internet? No hot coffee and rolls served for breakfast or Direct TV?
Guess I'd have to just bring a blanket, a loaf of bread and hit the hills like John Muir! ;))

Re: See a road leading

Oh, there is hot coffee and food all right. Pretty good food in fact - when the refuge is open for business that is, which is from the middle of June until the middle of October. Outside the season, you have to fend for yourself in the small winter room, which is unlocked.

Apart from excellent food, there are no luxuries. There are rooms with beds and dorm style accommodation, that's all. TV is a rare commodity in any alpine refuge. It's all about the location, you know.
