snow in June

Wow, I didn't realize that there was that much June snow in the Snowies.

Yes, we were quite surprised, too. I should say, however, that in April or so it's not unusual to see ten or fifteen feet of standing snow in the trees at least a thousand feet lower. I guess that's why they call it the "Snowy Range."
