The Mental (and Emotional) Crux

The Mental (and Emotional) Crux
The picture does not do this part of the ridge traverse justice. This wildly exposed (300 feet of air below!) section travels on the northern side of the ridge then heads back over to the southern side. This is a shot of Deb returning from Peppermint's summit and back to Spire Col.

Footnote: had there been witnesses, they would haved heard the many whimpers emitted from Deb and Dave! ;)
