The North Face ledge one...

The North Face ledge one takes for the West Ridge Route. The ledge is really quite easy without snow (compare with this photo). There are some moves where you have to use your hands and balance, but most of it is just walking. There are plenty of places to set some protection along the way. The fallen merlon where Sergio is standing gives itself up for a nice girth hitch placement. Photo taken Sept. 6, 2003.
