The north side of Big Mountain

Ken and I car camped at the spot where this picture was taken. We then drove over to a wilderness boundary (see arrow) and parked at that point. Our elevation gain to the summit from that point was 2000 feet in about 2 miles. I would recommend this route if the road in wasn't so dangerous. Our driving route is not recommended and I would never do it again.
