Neat shot

I've been enjoying all of your pics on Cusick. I saw Cusick nicely from Hidden Peak on my trip a couple weeks ago.

Pictures like this one...

Make me think I am living in the wrong part of Oregon.

I fought wildfires in the

Wallowas back in late 1980s. Wasn't there
also a real big one in the "Imnaha" area
back in 1987? That was a good (bad?) year
for wildfires. I wish I could go back again!

Re: I fought wildfires in the

I don't recall what year the big fire in the Imnaha was. I know there were some real big fires on the east slope of the Wallowas in 1986; one in particular was called the Canal Fire. '86 was a real bad year for eastern Oregon in general.

(Excuse me - I was having a "senior moment."

I meant the year 1986 - what a year for fires!)

Love da Goats

Love those Goats, we need to get over there and hit those peaks... way to close to Boise not to explore them.

Re: Love da Goats

Yes, the Wallowas are very accessible to Boise, much more so than many of the big east central Idaho mountains. I think a lot of people miss that.
