The northern and eastern parts of Koshtan, seen from close to the summit of Pik Kursantov.
The normal route on the peak is along the mountain's long ridge on the left hand side of the photo.

It's one of my favorite shots from that journey to The Caucasus. I wanted a nice shot of Koshtan, but the weather was bad for days, but then all of a sudden the skies very 100% clear. | | Posted Aug 26, 2007 1:30 pm |
