The Old Gray Mare . . .
. . . she ain't what she used to be.
We saw a lot of wild horses in the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. They were near trailheads, far in the backcountry of Painted Canyon, along the Scenic Loop Drive, and even in the Cottonwoods Campground. This is a roadside view.
