I hope that you don't mind guys that I posted this photo... it shows the satan's ridge quiet well. My admiration for climbing it!

Man or woman! Did somebody on SP actually
traverse that thing?

I'd be worried about rockfall.

Is the opposite side more "steeper?"

Hi Larry, the Elks are pretty famous for loose rock... I had enough of loose rock this weekend. Need some stable ground under my feet for a while :)
