The Ritten "Earth Pyramids"

The famous earth pyramids you can find to the south-west of Rittner Horn are erosion structures, which have remained intact thanks to a piece of Rock on to of them. OOnce the rock tumbles down, the pyramid beneath it disappears. May 1996

There's a similar feature near Omarama on the Sth Island of New Zealand.

	Hasn't voted	I actually have better photos of a place not too far away from Ritten. But somehow I never could decide to which mountain group they belonged. I guess I'll have to think again...
