The Roßstein Nadel

There are some 1 and 2 pitch climbs on this little tower shortly below the summit of Roßstein. Indeed, the whole area abounds in nice looking rock climbs. Some people were top roping a steep slab just out of sight on the left.

Rosstein Nadel

Yes, indeed there is good rock climbing on solid rock on both Rosstein Needle (shown) and Buchstein East Side (nearby). At Buchstein there is a route exit directly at the huts terrace, you grab your first beer when belaying.

Right on! I saw descriptions on a web site of a long route that ends at the terrace, but it was too hard for me (grade 8 or 9). Is there a route of like grade 6 or 7 that arrives there?

To my knowledge only the hard route mentioned directly ends at the terrace. But as you know you get a beer anyhow.
