Yes, particularly in the places where it really rains a lot, the grass has this rich and luscious color. That's one of the reasons everybody loves the Bernese Oberland - when it's not raining, that is. ;-) The Arlberg area also gets an enormous amount of rain every year.

Thanks a lot, Caleb! There are in fact several climbing routes right up to what would be in the United States YDS 5.9 (UIAA-grade VI), and as the base of the mountain is easily accessible, it is quite popular among climbers.
