The route from Lost Lake to...

The route from Lost Lake to Kennedy Lake begins with a trail, but it soon disappears. The remainder of this cross country route requires good navigation skills as there are numerous opportunities to descend into canyons that are impossible to escape without retreat. The best strategy is to keep high and left as you descend and avoid the temptation to drop down to the creek. Also note that this is a northern exposure and there are portions of this steep trail that usually remain snow covered until late in July.
