The Runnel Pitch

February 15th, 2010 - Rime ice plastering the chutes climbed to transition from the Sargents Traverse to the Rime Traverse via the notch (#5 in this photo). As the sun hit these rocks, rime started raining down. Time to move on! For convenience, I'm calling this stretch the "Rime Traverse".
