Classic view of the Shavano massif from US Hwy 285, directly east. This group incorporates, from right to left, Jones Peak, Tabeguache Peak (hiding behind Jones), Mount Shavano, and South Shavano. The Angel of Shavano snowfield is also visible here. (May 2004)
