Beautiful...

photo showing how The Snake River snakes it's way down.
A truly befitting name.

Re: Beautiful...

Thanks, Marc.
It is a pretty interesting place-the canyon is fairly deep around the Twin Falls area.
Around 500'deep and almost half a mile wide.
The canyon(at the above location) is spanned by the Perrine Bridge, which has become sort of a Mecca for base jumpers.

Re: Beautiful...

I see the bridge. How high above the water level is it?

Re: Beautiful...

I am going to say 400' give or take?
I have a couple of good pictures of the bridge at home, I will stick a couple of them on SP this evening.

Re: Beautiful...

Haven't been there, but I'm throwing out
a wild guess that no trolls are residing
beneath that bridge ???

Excellent shot, Tim !!!

Re: Beautiful...

Thanks, Larry!

I left out the trolls, the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce didn't want me to mention them. Trolls eating hikers and base jumpers seems to make for bad press these days!
