Sometimes you can really tell if a photo is shot up high. This one really gives me the feeling of a high, desolate and silent place. It is.

You had good luck with the weather as well.

Thanks much for the comments. As you know the summit of Kili is indeed a remarkable place. We did luck out with the weather, it was very cold but there was little or no wind.



I enjoyed your Aconcagua trip report, by the way. Take care.

I have wanted to climb Kili for years now but so far it has been impossible to convince my girlfriend to have an attempt on such a high mountain. Like Mama Tembo she doesn't see the necessity to actually reach a summit. Maybe your TR will convince her. Temperatures are a problem still....
