It is - years ago I stayed overnight at the Stöhrhaus and had a beautiful early morning on the Berchtesgadener Hochthron! It is something to be recommended! The hut is closed meanwhile, same as all of the other DAV and ÖAV huts, and there's no Winterraum. So I had to see to it that I get back down before darkness at quarter past five...
