The Streaked Wall, Dawn

The summits atop the wall are called the Beehives and are near the southern end of Zion Canyon. This scene is from the road between Zion Canyon and the Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel. I was on my way to climb Checkerboard Mesa but needed to stop to watch and photograph the amazing lighting. Looks more dramatic enlarged. Zion National Park, UT-- March 2008
